Unfortunately t mobile charges $30 extra on phones (apple sells ip16 for 800 and t mobile for 830.
T mobile also asked for $35 connection charge.
This extra $65 surcharge makes it less appealing ☹️

Reason for me asking this is - I have 5 lines to upgrade and it might be worth it overall to move to Go5GPlus, pay the difference in monthly bill, and get 830off per line for trading-in my existing phones. All of this hinges on T-mo being able to move my benefits to Go5GPlus plan.
Question: Should I move to Magenta Max or Go5GPlus? I could not find the differences on T-Mo site. Basically interested in hidden/fine prints that may not be appealing in the longer run. Basically I do not want to get hit by surprise increases, because it was written as fine print.
BTW, the rep was pushing hard for me to move to Magenta Max instead of Go5GPlus. I just couldnt trust the rep's suggestion.

indeo, were you hit by the price increase last year? If not, then your plan has price lock and you will lose price lock if you move to another plan. If you want to get an accurate estimate of your plan prices on MM or G5G+, ask on the T-mobile subreddit with the details on your current plan.
This iPhone promotion is an exception rather the rule; Go5G Plus has more consistent phones on T-mobile promotions (at least currently until a new plan replaces it).

I am just trying to figure out which of the 2 plans MM or G5G+ is more customer friendly, in terms of future price hikes, fine print leading to changes, promos removed. In short, I dont want to be at T-Mo's mercy of changing things midway in my 24 month period.
