As always, the MSRP on this is a joke, but it really is an excellent speaker, and this is a great price, especially in new condition.

Negative. From the HK site: The Onyx Studio 7 features Dual Wireless Sound which allows you to connect two Onyx Studio 7 speakers together for a more powerful listening experience. Please note: You cannot connect the Onyx Studio 7 to other Onyx Studio speakers such as the Onyx Studio 6 and 5.

I have two Onyx 4's that I paired in stereo using the HK app. Sounded awesome when it worked, but the app was incredibly buggy and would stop working despite the music source being very close to both speakers. I eventually gave up and just use my speakers as standalone units. Perhaps the app is better now, that was 2-3 years ago.

I have Onyx speakers from generation 1, 4, and 7. I've found that all of them can be good speakers but the overall sound quality is quite dependent on where you place them (and where you are oriented when listening to them), similar to loudspeakers in a home theater setup. I have other BT speakers that are much more forgiving in this regard, where you can put them almost anywhere and they sound the same (e.g., Soundcore Flare which is clearly meant to be omni-directional).

I have two and they can be paired by blue tooth and are generally just great speakers. Really recommend getting and would for sure buy again.
