I just looked, I got these for that price about a year ago, they are some really decent pliers. I am buying another set for my son, he was literally looking at mine tonight and really liked them.

Got an unopened "used very good" set for $40 last month after having then in my cart waiting on a deal for a few months.

They're worth twice what I paid. Fantastic pliers.

Grabbed these on the last (cheaper) deal, very good pliers all around. Considering inflation, I'd grab them at this price if you're in the market.

Some people are specifically looking to limit what they buy from PRC, for whatever reasons.
I picked up a set of GW tools recently that old ads online showed made in Taiwan, but the stuff that showed up was labeled made in China. I also picked up a Slickdeal'd Crescent (same parent company) socket set that I expected was made in China, but was in fact from Taiwan. It'd be nicer if they more clearly and consistently showed country of origin in the ad copy.
