I owned both the collector's edition and the digital version.

It's an excellent game, but I find it unbelievable that it still costs around $40 after all these years.

I agree.. I liked BotW better than TotK. I played BotW during the pandemic and it was the best gaming experience I ever had.

My kids aren't quite good at video games yet but they're getting better. They're 9 and play mario kart and mario strikers. Should I get this now or wait till it hopefully drops down to $30ish. Thanks in advance.

It's amazing how much this game is holding its price, inflation not withstanding. I bought this for $45 retail 7 years ago, and now it retails for $60, on sale for $40. Crazy!

On a separate note, I always bought a physical card, that way you can sell after you are done playing and get some money back on some of the more expensive games.
