Yup...for $120 more you get a more powerful unit and it's brand new

However, the River Pro weighs only 21 lbs and has the AC outlets on the front. The Delta 2 weighs more and has the outlets on the opposite side from the USB. Both are great and i own both. The River Pro is way more portable. And the location of AC outlets on the Delta 2 led me to add an outlet strip. consider the use case for yourself. But this is a good deal on the River Pro.

If you need portability, a brand new river 3 plus is only $200

But that is 50% more. I guess if you use it often and want to have brand new, then pay extra 50%. But if you only use it once in a while or only for emergency, then you can save some money to get a used one (like new).

Where? All I can find for new Delta 2 is $459. Refurbished the Delta 2 is $359.

And what makes the Delta 2 better, other than a higher Wh? This River 2 unit is actually cheaper per Wh.

the River 3 Plus is 286wh. The River Pro is 768wh. Big difference.

I own multiple deltas and delta pro 2s. I feel that the positioning of ports and the shape of delta pro 2 is a lot better. Espeically when I stack the units the cube shaped blocks are a lot more manageable. (I use it for all the computers using AC and security cameras using only usb output). These are great units. One quick note, if you are using multiple of these on a single fuse then keep charging at a lower speed (I keep it at 100W so your circuit breaker does not trip). Also, keep the max charging to 75% (setting inside the mobile app) so the life of the unit will be maximized.

the River Pro is the better choice in my opinion. i own several. it is 21 lbs and roughly a one foot cube shape. very good features. The Max is slightly lighter with slightly less storage capacity. if your trip is for 2 days and 1 night - it depends on items you will power as to the power you need. But the River Pro with a solar panel is a very good option. For more storage capacity (and more weight) check out the Delta 2 series. hope this helps.

Pro is a little better but a little more expensive. (MSRP speaking.) Either one should serve you just fine. If there is something that you want and run that uses high wattage, like a hair dryer, the Pro can handle higher wattage devices.

For those saying Delta 2 is better, the inverter uses more power. Basically, get a Delta 2 if you want it to power a refrigerator. Get a River Pro/Max if you plan to use it to charge USB devices and some AC devices that don't require high wattage.
