Product Info
Product Description:
The Bosch GOP18V-28N 18V StarlockPlus® Oscillating Multi-Tool Bare Tool provides a new professional standard in oscillating tool performance. The tool furnishes the next-generation Starlock® 3-D tool-accessory interface, which has more contact surface area for firm blade grip and considerable torque transfer. This adds up to better cutting, grinding, scraping or sanding. The EC Brushless motor provides better power and runtime, with a top speed of up to 20, 000 oscillations per minute (opm), to finish off heavy-duty applications. A variable-speed dial allows the user to set the optimal speed for the task at hand. Constant Response circuitry maintains the desired speed under load. The GOP18V-28 is compatible with Bosch's full line of Starlock® and StarlockPlus® accessories, for flush-cutting, plunge-cutting, sanding, grinding, grout removal, scraping and more. It is a bare-tool kit; the battery and charger are sold separately. Bosch StarlockPlus 18-volt Cordless Brushless Variable speed Oscillating Multi-Tool (Charger Not Included) | GOP18V-28N

If I choose "pick up at store" option, I cannot add to the the cart. If I choose "delivery" option, I can add to the cart but the delivery fee is $79. 😂 It shows there are some in stock at the store. Weird! Anyone is having the same problem?

I've the same issue. None of the stores near me have the battery in stock. They are charging $79 for shipping.

That means they don't have it in stock in your area.
Yes, you'll need to find a store with inventory in stock. (I guess this deal might be more YMMV than I'd anticipated!) Slick deal for those who can find it. It's available in my area.
I bought this tool new years back. This thing is a beast. I had a hard time bogging it down. Sanded down a trailer frame with the sander attachment and cut metal trim and stripped screws with the blades etc. Wasn't overly battery hungry. Biggest battery I used was the 4.0 non core. I'm slowly moving over to team red and will be selling my bosch 18v tools soon.
The con is the blade availability as others have stated. After trying off brand blades, I've gone back to the Bosch blades.
This tool without battery was a front page deal for $49 not too long ago now it's $79 with battery. I wonder which deal is better. Is a 4ah battery worth $30?

I would say it is, its a CORE 18V, newest Bosch 18v version 4AH. The tool comes with one wood STARLOCK cutting blade and a little plastic case for your blades.
Now I will wait for some STARLOCK blades to go on sale. Seems like Bosch has been dumping a lot of 18v tools.

Better option would be to get the DeWalt when it's $80-90 and then you can use the universal blades.
