It is, but I find it a little annoying because I move a lot when trying to fall asleep. So Im always conscious about it, worrying I might hit it against something.
Stop by your local department stores's athletic dept and grab a pair of athletic wrist sweatbands and slide one over your watch at bedtime. May help you sleep with a bit less worry.
Coming from the Watch 5 Pro, I wished I kepted the Pro. Reverse wireless charging worked on my current device which made it ideal for travel. Bothe the Watch 5 Pro and Ultra are functionaly the same device and I was able to get the same battery life with or without AOD enabled.

I was skeptical about the Ultra when I had the Watch5 Pro LTE, but pulled the trigger on the trade-in with $75 government discount and ended up paying only ~$50 for the Ultra. Battery life on the Ultra is much better than the 5 Pro for me. Same identical usage, but I'm getting 2.5 days on a charge vs a little over 1.5 days with the 5 Pro. 2.5 days is perfect as I charge the watch around the same time every 2 days (when it gets to about 20-30%). With 5 Pro, I have to charge daily or change my charging schedule if I wanted to maximize my battery use. I bring a charging adapter with 2 USB-C ports for my phone and watch when I travel so I never used wireless reverse charging, but that is a convenient feature that the Ultra lacks.
you could charge the watch with the plugged-in phone? That's pretty awesome. Can't with the 7?
The Ultra and 7 have bigger/better sensors so Samsung couldn't fit the reverse wireless charging hardware, apparently. It's a bit odd to me that it's different than the regular wirelss charging hardware as you can wirelessly charge the 7 and Ultra with its charger and other wireless charging pads.
the history post shows $227 as the lowest after trading in any snart watch in any condition
I dont know how but i managed to click, Instant discount (no trade in) and applied samsung employee discount and the total was just under $260. As soon as i logged in to try and check out it reverted back to my government employee discount at $377.99 plus tax, again no trade in.
