This is an amazing price for this monitor. I have the exact same one but from Amazon, and they have an exclusive with speakers in it. BUT, the display is bright, and gorgeous. Whites are white and uniform across the display. Used for years before finally (just now) trying out OLED.
If you need a great 4K 27" monitor with USB hub, this is a good price.
I've had this monitor for several years. I paid $40 or $50 more for it and throught that was a deal. My only complaint is the lack of speakers. I use it mostly for work.

Does this have whites as whites or whites as gray?
Does this do Power delivery via its USB C port? I am looking for a USB C PD monitor so that I can switch between my personal and work laptop when needed

You guys think this monitor is better than the Dell S2722QC for 200?in terms of text clarity and color gamutEDIT: I think the Dell is better. it's brighter lol
TL;DR: I prefer the Dell.
I own two of these Samsung monitors (one with speakers and one without) as well as the Dell S2722QC, all used as docking stations for a couple of M1 MacBooks.
The Dell monitor experienced a common issue with M1 Macs, where the screen would flicker and potentially cause temporary burn-in when large sections of darker colors were displayed. Disabling GPU dithering on the MacBooks seems to have resolved this.
The Samsung monitor with speakers developed a problem with its built-in USB hub after about a year of use. I have several devices daisy-chained to it (Ethernet, webcam, keyboard, mouse, DisplayLink), but it has stopped reliably connecting USB 2.0 devices. I've tried swapping cables, testing with fewer devices, and even using a Windows laptop, but the issue persists. I ended up having to use an external USB-C hub, which defeats the purpose of buying a USB-C monitor in the first place.
While I don't do work that requires color accuracy, both monitors seem decent in terms of display quality. Subjectively, I might prefer the Dell slightly, although I can't pinpoint why. In terms of build quality, I think the Dell feels more solid than the Samsung, and I prefer the Dell's stand and downward-facing USB ports.
EDIT: The Samsung does provide more power (90W vs 65W), which might be important if you have a power hungry laptop that you constantly run full tilt.

Yes. Up to 90W. I have two of these monitors that I use as docking stations. One started developing connectivity problems with its USB hub after about a year. Tried swapping cables and computers with no luck. Video and power still work over USB-C, though.

i just got the Dell monitor from the slickdeals post a few days ago and have been trying to use it! Would you mind answering a few questions for me?
1. Do you use another monitor with the dell as a dual monitor setup or just the dell?
2. I am using a second non 4k monitor and i notice that in my video calls, it seems like someone is "fast forwarding" when they are talking. It's as if my monitor is getting stuck and than speeding up - has this ever happened to you?
3.It also feels like my wireless keyboard is lagging for some reason - do you experience this at all?
4. Kind of funny, but with how tall the dell monitor is, i find that i look a bit silly on camera because my external webcam is so high ontop of my monitor. Do you have to use an external webcam too, have you noticed that?
