Looks like junk you'll spend hours trying to understand how it works and downloading some crappy app that asks for all of the permissions, only to get bored with it in a few days, forget to charge it back up, and never use it again.
A decent night light by GE can be had for around 5 or $6, and is "smart" in only turning on in the dark. It's a much better set and forget light ,and no batteries that drain in a week.

The sell separately a magnetic hook for it as well which looks kind of neat, but is almost the same price as the sphere itself.
The built-in battery, ramping brightness, magnet and various color modes are all pretty nice honestly. We've been using them as nightlights for a few weeks, and I imagine will use them during late bbqs during the summer, but we'll see.

Didn't know how big the app was, that's ridiculous and sketchy as hell. Luckily the sphere works perfectly well without the app.
