Above is Amazon link for 4-piece set $57
I bought this set in December for about the same price they are on sale for now. If you're interested in more of an assortment and not a set of 4 slip joint pliers, it might be better. I've used them some, they seem to be high quality, but let's be honest, they are pliers/cutters. I suspect the Amazon Basics would have served me just fine. YMMV

This video was super helpful. I won't be getting these. Thanks for sharing this.
Auto-Bite seems to be a gimmicky feature that's a bit more fiddly than SmartGrip (only auto-adjusts one way) and a common point of failure. On the bright side, it's an optional feature that could be collapsed into the handle when better grip/torque is desired. With Auto-Bite collapsed, the grip span seems to be on par with that of the non-SmartGrip pliers, and you'd retain the nifty ratcheting action that's similar to the Cobra XS. So... if you preferred the grip span of non-SmartGrip pliers, you could simply not use the Auto-Bite.
I almost pulled the trigger on the 6" model for $13, hesitated because it looked too big to be 6", and eventually called it off when I learned that it actually measures 6.9". Now that's just deceptive. I really do not want to cut off the warranty with an angle grinder 🤔
