Last time I tried this one it was extremely sour even though the tasting note says otherwise. Also, it was old beans. Maybe Intelligentsia is not my taste.

maybe you ground it too fine? coarser grind size tend to extenuate sourness.

I tried both drip and espresso with the proper grind setting on my grinder. This coffee is more like light roasting, not medium.

Seems they redesigned their packaging, for the worse and took an ounce out of their produce - now all 11 ounces.

I recently got one with the new designed package from Amazon . The worst part is they no longer have the roasted date. The expiration date was May this year and it tasted pretty old with little crema

The other way around, finer grind makes it less sour. I would rather use less coffee and/or more water to adjust the the coffee/water ratio from sour towards bitter.
