Spoke with the seller, he told me his link is broken. Not sure what that means but he has it set up to auto accept at anything above $120. I told him I offered $115 and he said he would have countered at $130. I had to retract my offer and reoffer to the $120.

Como Audio was founded by audio industry veteran Tom Devesto, formerly from Tivoli Audio and Cambridge Soundworks, all quality HiFi brands. The company became a victim of supply chain price spikes following the pandemic. There was nothing wrong with their products. This seems like a great deal.

Dang slickdeals. I am in the middle of trying to build out components in an audio stack and wasn't looking to replace my AT LP-120…. But yet here I am.

I was going to replace the cart in the lp-120 in the next 6 months anyway and that would have set me back AT LEAST 60-70 bucks anyway. 🤷 ♂️

I'm now thinking about the speakers as well. Apparently this company was a rival to Sonos and had there own technology.... Etc.

I really wanted black though and the speaker I want are only in hickory.....decisions decisions

It's cheap because Como Audio failed as a brand, not because there was anything wrong with their products. These are legit, new old stock, from a quality manufacturer with good components (at least mostly), nothing wrong with them. Where this would fall in Pro-Ject's own line, I don't know exactly. Probably not a $500 unit, and if it were $200 I'd probably look for something else, but you'd be hard pressed to beat it for $120. This is very low risk.

My offer of $120 for the piano black was accepted and I paid $130 after taxes. If it is even half decent as compared to a Project T1, then it is a great deal.
