It checks all boxes for my laptop requirements.

90 day warranty is only negative. Anyone know how MC refurb process goes? Is it manufacturer refurb, manufacturer warranty or MC?
I only bought TV and small electronics from MC and bought laptops through direct manufacturer in past.

I see machine available at this price in MC near me.

Would anyone know the charger thats included in the refurbished model? Is it a generic 45w or the actual 90w one?

It's the 90 watt OEM.
I love this computer, but it's hard to recommend at this price when other high res OLED models are approaching this price range. However, the display is absolute perfection and I haven't seen many 14.5" with this aspect ratio.

spoke to a MC rep on chat and was told this is a certified refurb by ASUS, 90 day manufacturer warranty. charging is the actual OEM 90W AC adapter with USB-C connector.

do you know if regular usb c charger (65w or 90w) charge these or do they need to be ASUS usb c charger?

All they said was 90W AC adapter with a USB-C connector. But my understanding is it doesn't matter since USB-C is universal.

I have this one, any USB-C PD charger works, but a 65W is detected has 45W, so performance is reduced when using a 65W/45 charger. Any 90w+ charger provides full performance.

Thanks for the reply. I bought this 2 weeks back when the price was 450. I got a 45w charger and was disappointed. The box was torn on the side where the charger was. I checked and the laptop worked fine and did not think too much. Its only after I got home that I realized it might have been swapped? Am I overthinkgin it?

USB-C is far from "universal" outside of the connector. Dell uses their own PD spec, likely others as well. Typically they still charge on a normal PD 45/65W charger.

Touchscreen? I'd be in for one if it is. I find it very useful for web surfing
Unfortunately, it doesn't.

I would add how many cores and if they are p cores or e cores. I believe the clock speed might be incorrect as well.

Intel Core i7 12700H up to 4.7GHz 14 Core Processor (Alder Lake) 6p cores, 8e cores.
