Their new Intel releases get an anti-reflective coating on the screens. I'm hoping the next generation of SD devices get them, too. That's the only thing I find missing in these machines.

Too expensive. Checked the lunar lake and they are $1500 for base model 16+256. Geeez

Damn 16GB RAM bullshit.
We just boycott buying any Laptop be it Windows or Apple above the 600-700 price range in 2025 with a meager BS 16GB RAM.

Wish these snapdragon chips runs more apps. They are great on battery life but cant run all programs. Are good for videos web browsing and light office work.

I've been running Windows on ARM for over three years. Since Windows 11 came out, there isn't anything that failed to run. The Snapdragon X Plus in my Surface is as fast as my i7-10700F desktop.

No, you do a clean install with the specific image downloaded directly from Microsoft based on your model and serial number.

Agree. However the intel chips are sold as "Business" devices to enterprise/SMB customers giving MS carte blanche to really stiff that pricetag. It's a real shame b/c I'm looking for that one too, but no more than $1k.

I can confirm, no porn game app or porn movie fail to run on ARM in the last 3 yrs...Other more important software will not run on ARM....😂😂
