Also, as a new user, it's usually best to look for a long-term user with a decent amount of rep to trade with, as they're usually viewed as more reliable traders. A new user who's buying will usually look for a more established user to buy from and a new user who's selling usually looks for a more established user to sell to. Then the new user generally sends first to avoid scammers. If a new user looking to buy pairs with a new user looking to sell, it can be sketchy because neither have a reputation as a reliable trader, so neither one of them usually wants to send first for fear of getting scammed. If a user has a few hundred rep points, they're usually considered to be pretty reliable as a helpful SD user. If they have thousands of rep points, even more so.

Or does that person send you like a Amazon gift card link that you actually have to click on to manually open the gift card that reveals the code?
Need 3 mlb.tv codes
DM and I can send today.
Sent you via PM my last MLB code. TY.
All gone!
Last year, a few people were creating a dummy Yahoo or Gmail account to go along with the account also. But that's not even really necessary and the MLB account can be set up without any actual email confirmation and it doesn't send emails saying the account was set up. People can also just pick an email address which doesn't actually exist and leave it to a buyer to claim the dummy email account if they actually want to. More of those discussions will probably come as the expiration approaches. Basically, it's just one more bit of login info that gets transferred for the MLB login and there were quite a few of those traded last season after codes expired. Here's a link to the page where that discussion started last year …

Edit: I also just tested something else which may be another interesting option for creating pre-made accounts. I created an MLB account with an email login of [email protected] as the account login … that email address / domain name doesn't actually exist and messages will bounce if you send anything to it … but it's a valid MLB login account. And it took about 10 seconds to set up the account, as a password and birthday are the only other questions asked to set it up. You wouldn't be able to change the email address since that requires verification, but it would be an extremely easy login to remember if anyone was concerned about that. And there are a practically infinite number of simple names with nonexistent email addresses that could be used if just interested in having an easy login ( [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]d …)
