Check back when it goes live on March 25 for exact details. It's usually pretty straightforward where they give you a code and then that code can either be copied and pasted into a link or website to activate when you're logged into your MLB account. Look at the Wiki (informational post on the first page of the thread) once it goes live and more specifics are usually added there.

Also, as a new user, it's usually best to look for a long-term user with a decent amount of rep to trade with, as they're usually viewed as more reliable traders. A new user who's buying will usually look for a more established user to buy from and a new user who's selling usually looks for a more established user to sell to. Then the new user generally sends first to avoid scammers. If a new user looking to buy pairs with a new user looking to sell, it can be sketchy because neither have a reputation as a reliable trader, so neither one of them usually wants to send first for fear of getting scammed. If a user has a few hundred rep points, they're usually considered to be pretty reliable as a helpful SD user. If they have thousands of rep points, even more so.

Want to know how bad reading comprehension is in the United States? Look at all the people in this thread talking about MLS.... while this thread is about MLB..... and the deal doesn't start until next month. Sometimes you just lose faith in humanity.

When is the last day one can still trade the MLB code? The last day to redeem is soon right? So if you don't claim it and thus not trade it with anyone by then, at least claim it yourself and use a throwaway email correct with it?

Do people still trade after the last day to claim it assuming you give them the MLB details along with the email and password associated with it?

Yes, trading will still be going on in this thread for weeks or months, but they will need to be accounts rather than codes since the codes are set to expire on 4/1 at 5 AM. They often give a little slack and codes can be redeemed for a while after that if they've been saved outside the TMo app, but I wouldn't count on it. If anyone has unredeemed codes left, they should probably consider converting them to pre-made MLB accounts. That will eliminate the time-crunch in trading them and the email / password can be shared when trading instead of the TMo codes. Here are a few ways of doing it …

1. Set up a barebones account on MLB.com. (This method is mentioned first simply because it's the absolute fastest way, not the best). You can use any simple name at an easy-to-remember domain that doesn't exist (like those reserved for testing purposes). Such addresses would include addresses like [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]d … that way you can set up a valid MLB login in a matter of seconds since the only other info needed to create an account is a password and birthdate. Then, visit the generic redemption web link and paste the code and the entire process takes less than a minute. (This is the fastest method besides using your own email, but will not allow a change of email address later since the email can't be verified.)
Link to create new MLB account … https://www.mlb.com/registration?redirectUri=/
Link to redeem code … https://www.mlb.com/commerce/redeem/form

2. Set up a free email account from a provider like Gmail, Yahoo, or Proton mail and then create an MLB account using that free email address. This will take a little longer since you'll be setting up a basic account on two websites, but setting up the free email account is also pretty quick and easy so the entire process should only take a few minutes. This method takes a little longer, but is the safest way to avoid any possible complications.

3. In-between method: Go to one of the free email providers already mentioned and find a username which is available as an email address but don't actually register it and then just go to the MLB page to set up the free account there using the non-existent email address. Then, you'll have a valid MLB account set up pretty quickly and the option to claim the corresponding email later if a buyer wants it. Note that someone could potentially claim the unused email address in the meantime, but if you find an address unique enough to be available on one of the free sites, it's probably not going to disappear in just a few weeks. So the buyer could decide whether they want to set up an email for it.

4. You could also just redeem the account and set it up with your own email anddress and then plan to transfer it to the buyer's email address later. The MLB site removed the option to change the associated email address at some point last year, but it seems to be working currently. YMMV if they decide to nix that option at some point down the road. This is another good method for those who just want to claim the code as quickly as possible and worry about transferring it later.

Yea I recalled a while back people still traded but it would be accounts rather than codes. When I created an MLB account for the 1 MLB code that I claimed already, I noticed it didn't even asked me to confirm the MLB account. Is that normal? Then while logged in that MLB account, I then entered the code to redeem and it did. I did have that email details associated with it though in case something happens. But In your example, you are suggesting that compared to creating a throwaway email like with Gmail or proton mail because it's faster?

Okay so the next method you mention is what most people should be doing. That seems to be the better idea like in case if you make a mistake with that MLB username or password. Then you have that throwaway email and password in case. But when people sell the MLB account as oppose to code, they usually supply an email with it right? Because if that person who buys the MLB code forgets the username/password, well they can't click forget password since they don't have the email associated with it... especially if it was a made up one.

The other method you mention is interesting and I never thought of that. That one seems even better. The thing is for security, isn't it actually better to not create an email address associated to it which you will give to that person because when you have access to an email, you could actually track your IP history? I mean it's not anything much for this but I assume you get what I mean? Do people here use VPN for this then when creating a throwaway email?
