Keeps things hot/cold for a long time
Area where the mouth touches is totally covered
Spill proof
Doesn't sweat
Fits in cup holder
I just wish they made bigger sizes, but it's worth it. Especially at this price

What I *don't* care about on this particular item is the stainless steel lining. I can taste it with coffee (not just these, but all stainless steel mugs)... Zojirushi does make ceramic lined of these, and for me, THOSE are the absolute perfect mugs. They aren't on sale as frequently, but they do seem to last forever so for me, worth the premium.

They're essentially the same diameter as a soda can (+ ~1mm) so fit in pretty much any cupholder, bag, pouch, etc. I prefer the 20 Oz size which is just a taller version of the 12 and 16oz listed here. This is one of the 'newer' cap styles and works well. Removable and easy to disassemble/clean.
Some people prefer the non-stick lined version to the plain stainless and i'll weigh in . If you drink tea or coffee, you'll get tanin stains even on non-stick. If you're OK with that still being clean, no biggie. If you're going to scrub these, you'll destroy the coating in short order. OTOH if you just drink water or similar and are sensitive to the metal taste then get the non-stick. Personally I have a bigger taste issue when using a thermos for coffee/tea and then anything else so I keep separate ones for those purposes.
