Can't seem to get the 50% to apply, only the 30 listed on the website.

I was able to do it, but I had to remove and re-add the item to my cart a few times. Coupon finally worked.

I bought my first projector for $1700. It was the cheapest one at the time made by NEC. Then later-on one by TI for $700. Then yet another one (?) for $550.

Now these projectors are so cheap. A good screen would cost more. How is the quality, resolution, brightness ...?

No one complaining yet this isn't as good as a $2000 projector?

[Taps mic] is this thing broken?

It's about what you'd expect for $40. If you are watching kids movies in a dark room then it's "acceptable" but don't buy this thinking you are going to watch 4k movies in your living room.

And the reviews. Be careful because it seems they have changed the projector model but used the same listing (multiple reviews point this out) so maybe the old one that was listed was rated better? But even the 5 star reviews read like they were AI generated. I mean:

"I couldn't be happier with this projector! It works seamlessly on my wall, delivering crisp, vibrant images without needing a dedicated screen. The resolution is stunning, and even in ambient light, the picture quality holds up impressively well.

Setup was a breeze—within minutes, I had it connected and streaming my favorite shows. The sound quality is decent for a built-in speaker, but pairing it with my external sound system made the experience even more cinematic.

What truly sets this projector apart is its versatility. Whether I'm watching movies, playing games, or even using it for presentations, it never disappoints. If you're looking for a reliable and high-quality projector to use on your wall, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!"

This is 100% fake. Read the 1 and 2 star reviews before actually buying this.

I got this delivered in one day so I figured I'd come back and share for those that are skeptical still. I had LOW expectations lol. It was about 4 pm when I recorded the video so still light out and I don't have blinds in the room. Also my wall is a cream color. I ordered a projector screen that will get here tomorrow so we'll see if the quality is better with that.

For $40 I'm happy. I plan to watch at night only. I can see if it's in a bright room that it may not look so great. I paired with a Bose Bluetooth speaker and fire stick. The stock speaker is just meh, I would def recommend pairing with a better one if you have it. I do wish the angle was more adjustable as I had to mount a shelf to get it to the right height.

Not bad at all.
My old ones were not brighter than this. The resolution is as good if not better. Man, for $40 plus tax, I would say this is very decent.

Question: what's the dimension of your projected screen on the wall? Would an 120"~150" projection still look good?

I ordered a 120" one, the setting right now is at 80% so I think a 150" screen would still work

Spend the extra $100 or so and get a good name brand used one. I bought a few of the $40-80 ones and they were all let downs. Eventually I spent the extra and don't regret it. The only sub priced one I bought was by Vankyo that has features that were great but in the end they all lack light quality. Good luck.

I use a ViewSonic PA503S 3600 Lumens SVGA HDMI Projector. You can get a renewed one on Amazon for $150. I use it in a basement theater. It does well with a lit room also..I use a firestick on it.

Be aware the Amazon renewed listing claims it is a 1920x1200 projector, its native resolution is only 800x600.

I got one as well. Received yesterday and tested it a little bit. I can't believe how great this thing is for 40 bucks. I used to have 50 dollar kids projector 10 years ago and they were pure garbage. and this could almost replace a living room tv if you are not very picky (and I dont watch TV during the day).
I think this is at least as good as those business projectors we used to use in the office, might not as bright but better resolution and more features.

I would like one that's at least full HD, which is 1920 x 1080
