The Plus like I have is more of a camping or small appliance unit while the Ultra is more for home backup and grid tied.
So these are much bigger and heavier and may not really fit the portable profile, but it would be nice to atleast have the option, even with an adapter. Id get them mayyybe since I do have two pluses, otherwise I would go DIY for a whole home setup personally.

I would get one of the cases for the DIY battery with BMS and all that, and used the pre-encosed cells not invidual 188650's
So $600 for the case (seen them cheaper) and the cells.
Here for example is a $2000 all in one kit for $2000 that gives you a 15Khw battery
by comparison say the Ecoflow Ultra is 6Kwh for $2800 (current price direct)

This deal makes 3 batteries $2000 each, so we are still beating that by a good margin and this battery is universal not propritary.
Its common to even use batteries like this with a unit like an ecoflow by hooking them up to the solar input, and that is why a 48v battery is so good, as it falls in a good range for the solar input to maximize efficentcy.
BUT if you require portability (as portable as this much weight can be), I guess these are a good value when added to the base unit. Or rolling around your house or whatever.
18kw is a lot of capacity and can keep some things running a good long time if you understand usage.
Kinda limits flexibility to expand and do other things though when you're limited to this "ecosystem" I guess you'd call it.

for cold winter charging delta ultra has heating for instance, have not seen a DIY or battery kit with that option.
I think delta 3 pro can use couple of these also, not just the ultra inverter.
