Spectrum sucks and my bill keeps increasing due to falling off promos. currently 60, but increasing to 85 in august. Absolutely absurd.
I even gave them a last chance by speaking to a rep, if they can give me some discounts or i'll leave. they wouldnt budge, so here i am.
So my brother lives a mile away from me. What's the chance they don't let me use it at my brother place when I order it for my place? Anyone knows if they're strictly enforcing the geofencing?
I told them your offer terms doesn't say that, but they told me it's only applicable for amplified. It was told by messaging team and tforce from X.

When the service did work, it was OK. Not as consistent or reliable as Comcast cable modem internet. Also T-Mobile doesn't give you a static IP (Comcast does, in my area; though the static IP can and does change periodically). For anyone who signs up for T-Mobile Home Internet (TMHI), I recommend keeping your existing internet service for several weeks before you cancel it to make sure TMHI works well for you. That way if there are issues you can cancel TMHI and send the equipment back.
Fios is the same speed up/down but the T-Mo 5G Home Internet is not.
Depending on the T-Mo 5G tower locations speeds can vary from about 200-300Mbps to 600-800Mbps Down and 100-200+Mbps Up.
Of course, tower congestion can be a factor but with 5G it wont be a factor most of the time as the 5G bandwidth is pretty large and capable.
Besides, not all phone users have 5G phones these days and they get connected to the 4G towers.
The T-Mo 5G though is NOT widely available, and the same is an issue with the other major cell providers like Verizon 5G which is far worse in availability than T-Mo 5G.
T-Mo 5G can be available with great speeds of 800+Mbps within a 3-5 city block area but 10 blocks away it's not available.
Verizon is even worse, it can be available within a block or two at 1000Mbps, but 3 blocks away there's no 5G signal.
Of course all this depends on the city or country 5G tower locations, but since 5G is of far limited range than 4G, country availability will be a lot less than in the cities.
It'll probably take several years for 5G to be as available around the country as 4G is today.
Now, as far as the cashback is concerned, the $250 cb seems to be available now and for the next few days. The $350 cb seems to be no longer available.
These cb will usually come in an email as long as the cb extension is fully available and working in the browser. If privacy and other blocking browser permissions are not available the cb email may not come.
It depends on what one may want to do with the T-Mo device, but an up to date router should best be used especially one with Wi-Fi 6, and fully capable router features that the T-Mo 5G router does not have.
If one is technically adept in router hacking and modifications, like installing Fresh Tomato and other firmware like openwrt, etc., one can have a pretty good online connection with the T-Mo home internet 5G device.

I was seeing the $300 for Rely until today but now I don't see it online. Does anyone else see the $300 offer for Rely online or on the Tmobile app? Thanks. Just wondering if it might re-appear tomorrow.
