When do I fill up the rebate ? I ordered on 22nd and got the router on Wednesday and it's been horribly spotty, sometimes I get a few MBs and sometimes up to 500mb. So I will keep it till I get the $300 rebate.
When I'm trying to submit the rebate, it's showing as : I am requesting reimbursement for - Internet early termination with the phone # for the Internet.
Here's how to submit your T-Mobile Internet Contract Freedom Claim
We'll reimburse your previous internet service provider's early termination fees when you join T-Mobile Home Internet or Small Business Internet- up to $750 via virtual prepaid card. Restrictions apply.
Allow up to 8 weeks.
Step 1: Get a new device and a qualifying plan.
Step 2: Cancel your old internet service.
Step 3: Pay your old Internet Service Provider's (ISP's) final bill.
Step 4: Prepare your reimbursement request within 60 days of activation of your T-Mobile internet service. (Activation occurs either at time of purchase or when the gateway is shipped to you).
You'll need to submit a screen shot or photo of your final bill showing the early termination fee (ETF). The name or address on the bill must match your T-Mobile Account billing information. See FAQs for details before you log in.
* Is that what everybody is doing and claiming that $300 as an early termination for previous Internet service ?
With an open window it may reach over 500Mbps but with the window shut it may drop down to 450-400Mbps.
Or is it an Old model?
It's gotten and gets 1Gbps about a mile away(driving distance-closer to tower).
Just now (today) its 71Mbps Cell vs 630MbpsTMHI
also another s24 ultra got 76Mbps

Are you doing the speedtest in the same location/window as the gateway?
The S24 ultra has a Snapdragon X75 5G modem, much more capable than the T-Mobile internet gateways with X62 modems.

It looks like one of your cell phones gets 71Mbps while your TMHI device gets 630Mbps.
What brand/model is it, Samsung S24, S25, etc.?
Also which TMHI device do you have, the Rely one or the Amplified one with the external antenna plugs?
Your S24 gets 76Mbps.
It looks like MAYBE all these devices connect to different bands, and MAYBE the two cell phones may connect at some 4G bands and NOT 5G, BUT may be connected at some different 5G bands than the TMHI.
That would explain the different speeds.
The T-Mo 5G bands are N25, N41, N48, N66, N71, N77.
The T-Mo 4G LTE bands will begin with the letter B.
Check your TMHI device to see which 5G band it's using. It's found in the app settings. Most likely it'll be N41.
In my Amplified TMHI it's N41.
Also check the two cell phones which bands they connect to. Are they 5G bands and which ones, or are they 4G bands.
Usually on the cell phone screen, top right, it should indicate the 5G, something like 5GUC, but doesn't show the actual band number, for example N41, etc.
To see the actual band number the cell phone is connected install the LTE Discovery app.
On the top under Signals it should show the band.
It'll show something like this: 5G NR SA N38 and also the signal strength of that band.
The N38 above is from my S25 phone. Your cell phone may show N41.
Signal strength ranges:
-80 dBm or higher: Excellent signal strength with maximum data speeds
-80 dBm to -90 dBm: Good signal strength with good data speeds
-90 dBm to -100 dBm: Fair to poor signal strength with reliable data speeds, but possible drop-outs
-100 dBm or lower: Poor signal strength with marginal data and drop-outs
Check this about the T-Mo N38 band, that's little known:
https://www.reddit.com/r/cellmapper/comments/1140g8w/get_it_tmobile_band_38_active_with_standalone_5... [reddit.com]
See this post there:
"Band 38 is a subset of band 41.
That means that all band 38 signals can also be band 41 (if the carrier chooses), whereas only some band 41 signs can be band 41.
Afaik T-Mobile only uses bands 41, even with the signals that could be either. However Android reports information in a way that makes it hard for apps to tell if a band is 38 or 41, so many apps accidentally report it incorrectly."
Also see this link:

Also check this post there:
"In many countries, n38 (2600 MHz), or commonly referred to as the 2.6 GHz 5G band, is a commonly tested and deployed frequency. The n38 band's popularity is due to its relatively common availability, often already widely in use by 3G and 4G networks. Operators may "re-farm" existing 3G networks on these frequencies to re-purpose for 5G networks."
In my case both the TMHI and the S25 test at around 500Mbps+ as they both use the same band N41 and N38 that's a subset of band N41.
Those speeds are inside next to and with the window OPEN.
With the window closed speeds drop down to around 450Mbps +/-
The S25 outside closer to the T-Mo tower tests at 850Mbps +/-
I believe the S25 modem is better/faster than the S24 modem and previous S generations models like the S21-S24..
The Samsung Galaxy S25 uses the Snapdragon X80 5G Modem-RF System.
This modem is part of the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which also includes the Qualcomm FastConnect 7800 Mobile Connectivity System.
Also, the S25 supports Wi-Fi 7.
In addition to installing the LTE Discovery app you may want to install and try the Opensignal app for more info and cell tower locations map, and the WiFi Analyzer app for more WiFi info.
The speeds of FIOS (fiber) blow 💨 away the slower speeds of T-Mobile 5G (cell tower network) based internet. If you can get it in your area Google Fiber and FIOS are the BEST ways to go for high speed internet 🛜 Period.

Sorry, there are no more available lines on your account.

Did you have to register a code? If so, where?
EDIT: Nevermind - go to promotions.T-Mobile.com
When this first came out in was defaulting uploading over 4gLTE and the speed was ok but the latency was unacceptable. Had to cancel.
