Hi all, took advantage of a razor+ trade in 2024 with the Sam's Club card, and traded in an old s21 which made it literally free just paying the taxes and the gift card however I have another galaxy I could trade in

But I'm on the 55 and over plan

Not the 55 plus but the 55 and over plan and I have been a customer for over 17 years

Can I replicate this deal without changing my 55 line, we have four lines on the account

Who's they?

In store - almost never waive activation fee unless you go to Costco

On the other hand, the reps at Costco did try to low to me about accessories required to waive activation fee. I told me to show me the disclaimer or whatever document they have to prove that to me, then they upgraded mine without activation fee and I did not buy any accessories.
get it from samsung free double storage and with epp get the phone cheaper then tmobile. Just got s25+ plus 512gb for $871.15. Traded in my s20 basically free upgrade

SO if I sign up for a NEW line they will email me the PIN code ... BUT if I have trouble with my phone they want me to drive 130 miles to the nearest store ....

THATS the issue ... you can't have it both ways and expect customers to not get pissed
If you open a new account, there's no chance of stealing someone else's data on the phone since it's new. If you have a problem with an existing phone, you could be impersonating someone else to access their phone (and data) . Seems pretty reasonable to me.

Can you give me the breakdown of the math involved to trade in the s20 and get the s25+ nearly free ( my daughter is in college so I might be able to register but don't wanna go through the trouble if it's not near zero)

I've seen less than that with proof. Don't knock something you don't understand. The One plan days with kickback, 20% off hookup code, multiple free lines, 9-12 lines made this very possible. A lot of it is bragging rights as a phone with 2gb per month is useless for most. If they use over 2gb it's $8-$10 more per line.

You don't understand what I was saying do you?

I did not say about it being fake. What I said is "What is the probability that will happen to the 99.9999999999999% of the population".

Are you slow? Did you do okay in school?

SOOO - they asked me for my 6-12 digit passcode ..... and then they asked me for my password "which could be a pets name" .. I got both of those correct .. then they said we will send you a PIN ... I said can you send it to the email on FILE (which meant as a bad guy not only would i now need to know that email address BUT also the password) ... and they said NO ...

Samsung S24 Ultra without any trade and unlocked with CB and Samsung discounts got it for $575 including tax.

I agree if you are looking only to upgrade a older device, simple.and easy way but that doesn't mean it is too good for everyone.
Going from an S24 Ultra to an S25 Ultra and paying $575 isn't really a good deal

Have you traded with Samsung would have got it for $379 a 512GB phone including Buds 3 Pro.

If you wait less than year you would get it unlocked without any trade and the 24 bill credits at this price.

This deal is only good for people with pretty old phones and looking for S25, not the ultras.

I get it, but how much was paid for the S24 ultra? Let's say $500.

I mean, sure if you upgrade every year, then yeah, paying $400 annually is a pretty sweet deal.

$300 is too much for S24U to S25U, literally nothing so different to pay that money. So far the best phone ever made by Samsung is the Note. I still have a Note10+ and would never trade it. Light weight, excellent battery even after 5 years of use, expandable storage, though not the latest Android still gets security updates...

Worst part is iPhone flagship is still at 1200, Samsung not anymore in that range for nothing more.

Is it not helping anymore? Some people were able to add it to free lines as well.

I believe some people called it the 9-12 lines exclusive club (extreme discounts). Kickbacks helped a lot too $40 baby.
