Also, don't buy Rolex just because it will "hold" value. If you are buying watches based on future value, this isn't the hobby for you. You're going to end up not buying watches you like (new moon watch) and buying watches you don't like (ho hum Rolex). Just like any other purchase you make in your life, buy what you want/like and know that if you ever try to sell it you won't get anything near what you paid for it.
Also, don't buy Rolex just because it will "hold" value. If you are buying watches based on future value, this isn't the hobby for you. You're going to end up not buying watches you like (new moon watch) and buying watches you don't like (ho hum Rolex).
