3.9 is a solid score. I have one of these. Makes a decent cup of coffee, especially since its just me making a cup and I was getting sick of kcups. Good to have the option, but I prefer a quick way to grind up some beans. The issues with this product are
1. Post grind, theres a bit of a mess left under the grinder.
2. Can't change the temp of the brew. I think it brews a little low, but I typically brew straight into a thermos, so it's fine

I said it last time and I will say it again… If you like drinking mud this is for you… it's a great idea but unfortunately produces relatively undrinkable coffee with the built in grinder.

Reviewers mentioned the brewing water measured at 180F°, so this might produce a decent cup of you like medium to dark roast coffee, but the fixed grind size is a deal-breaker for me. This machine needs a mechanism to adjust the grind size so you could dial in the extraction level a little.

We had 1 of this at work and wouldn't recommended.
Grinding made a mess every single time.
After about 2 months when water into the grind coffee it would leak so bad we would have to clean it underneath everytime we used it .

I have the same coffee maker and have used it successfully for the last year. You are correct that coffee can make some mess when grinding (nothing that can't be wiped up in seconds). But if you're having issues with water leaking (?) I'd say you have a defective unit. I use this thing daily and that doesn't happen. In terms of others saying the coffee it makes tastes like mud… I'm guessing if you buy low quality coffee beans then the resulting coffee will taste like mud no matter what coffee maker you use. I use this to grind whole beans and get a good cup of coffee out of it every time.

I disagree, I have this and it's been great. It makes very good coffee for me and my guests. Everyone has enjoyed it and it's been going strong for over a year. It does not leak and the only thing I've noticed is that you'll have some grinds to clean up eventually as a small amount will fall into the tray.

I may not fully understand, but isn't having beans in a clear container less than ideal? I would think the less exposure to the air and light, the better.

They're not in there long enough to matter.

Worst coffee machine ever. Grinding function is ok but I am not sure how it manages to make such a bad cup of coffee.

Agreed. Great concept, poor execution.

Went in for one. Includes 2 year extended warranty. Worse case is I have to return it. Needed a new Keurig replacement anyways.
