60 days unlocking??

Devices that you purchase from Verizon and certain devices purchased from our retail partners are locked for 60 days after activation. After 60 days, we will automatically remove the lock. Following the 60 day lock period following device purchase, we do not lock our phones at any time.

Good to see a deal right out of the gate. Tempting for sure. Now I just need a spare number to import.

Pay $299.99 when you switch to a Total 5G+ Unlimited plan, and you'll get $25/mo device credits for a year

Must stay on the Total 5G+ Unlimited plan for 12 mos. to receive all credits; credits will drop if you change plans or fail to continuously maintain active service
Kind of a bum deal due to this. Cheaper for the device upfront, but you need service for a year.

Just to be sure, the 300$ upfront is after prospective credit, so if you stop paying you'll be charged the remaining 300$, or it's 300$ upfront before credit, so if you stop paying you'll still get it for 300$ + one month service cost? The wording is not very clear and it makes a huge difference.

I don't get the complaint? You pay $300 upfront. You get a $25/mo credit for 12 months, making the phone free if you keep it a year. Don't keep it a year, you're still getting a $600 phone for half price.

Here's the details when I click for them:

"Buy the new iPhone 16e for $299.99 with the Total 5G+ Unlimited plan and get $25/month of service credits for a year. That's $600 in savings!"

It's already $300 off, and you can get another $300 off ($25x12) for a total of $600 off.

Don't think so. If you discontinue, you just won't get the $25/m credit ($300 savings). Your payment for the phone is always $300 upfront ($300 savings). that's why it says a total of $600 savings.

Am I right that another way to think of this is that the phone is $300 up front, and then you get the $50 unlimited plan for effectively $25/mo for a year? Seems to be a pretty decent deal

Not a deal. You have to pay for the premium plan like $55 a month for a year. The plan was recently just half that.

Yes a deal as you get a 16e unlocked in 2 months by paying $300+1 month service.

You misunderstood the deal. Its $600 off (ie free) if you stay for 12 months
