Because they are cheap only in price. They are not "cheap" lights they are high quality, well built lights with great fit, fisinh, function and durability at a low price. They are nice lights that cost significantly less than any of the makers you list.

A similar Streamlight might cost $100.

I have not had a Wurkkos or Sofirn fail and even have many no name generic china lights are still going strong after ten or more years of use and abuse.

Why would I want more expensive when I can have multiple light in various form factors and function where I need them for still significantly less cost than one Streamlight?

Streamlight also seems to want to suck you into proprietary batteries that you can only get from them which I find very weaselly and money grubbing in a world where low cost 18650 is becoming standard.
i love wurkkos flashlights i have a bunch of them, great quality at a budget price, this is for sure a great price comming from amazon and not waiting for them from china
The TS23 is indeed bigger, it's a jacket-pocket only light while the WK03 could be carried in a pants pocket (it's still larger than I personally want in a pants pocket, like all 18650 lights that aren't a Zebralight).

WK03:
Neutral color temperature
Excellent color rendering
18650 battery (possibly pocketable)
Lightweight for size

TS23:
Lots of output (briefly) for size
Very cool color temperature
Poor color rendering
21700 battery (higher capacity, not pocketable)
Heavy for size

I'm choosing between this one and TS23, which is also on sale. What could you recommend?
Looks a bit bulkier, but has much more lumens.

Neither of them are bulky at all. Are you planning to boof the thing?
I'd stick with the wk03. I think this is the same thing as the Sofirn sc18, which I have 2 of and gave away a couple more as gifts. It's a great light, not too small or too big. To me it's about the right all around light. The magnetic tail cap is a plus.

I followed your lead and got 2 gold ones as well. Thanks for lighting the way for me. You're golden! 😆

Thanks, but the on/off switch as at the end/base... which I detest.

Gold is a nice change from all the black lights I've owned. Unfortunately mine was stolen (dang family!) by someone that doesn't like end cap switches. Might have to buy another... bought the last when it was $18 though.

I used to buy cheap flashlights like the ultrafire wf-502b and thought they were great quality at a budget price too, but i would always be dissatisfied some time later. Instead of buying a bunch of these cheap lights like wurkkos or sofirn, why not just buy fewer but higher quality like Fenix, Nitecore, Streamlight?

I got this from Amazon back in December. It's a good flashlight. Very similar to the Sofirn lights I have. It was $19.25 in December.

I had this one but returned it. I wanted "more brightness!!!" So I went with the Sofirn SC33 (very similar to the TS23). Was debating between the Wurkkos TS22 but figured, just a little bit bigger why not?

Here's my verdict, it's bright af but it's also super bulky. I ended up buying a TS10 V2 for my pocket and keeping the SC33 in my glovebox. In hindsight I probably should have just kept this WK03, the gold is beautiful and the CRI90 is awesome.
