There is a better deal I posted which is to get any size fry with more specific beverage purchase restrictions (replenishes daily) and it has a senior size, which is better than a small, by caloric for price value. Senior size is cheaper too.

I think that is where society is messing up. We need to work more and eat less. If you make minimum wage, food is supposed to give you energy to continue to work. If you want to feel full, you need to make more to afford to feel full.
Back in the 1950s, when a hamburger was $0.15 and fries and drink were $0.10 each; that is already $0.35 and the wage was $0.75. That was a lot then.
$3 would mean you make at least whatever $3/0.40 is.
