No tax and free shipping. The best deal I've seen on this TV. Edit: I submitted this post originally, so why wouldn't I get the credit?!? Really odd to have it taken over by staff.
Wow I had to look back, in 2022 I paid $2600 for a 77" C1, this C4 is a significantly better television (much brighter, 144hz vrr, better processor producing sharper image and better upscaling, improved HDR color and gradient handling, etc.) for $800 less, considering inflation and this is 3 years later, this is a stunning deal. Definitely dont need it but if I were shopping for a 77" oled I'd jump on this.

I guess next gen tandem oled will replace these regular oled so they are clearing inventory
Doesn't look like the C5 will be much different. But I highly recommend buying from a retailer that offers no hassle burn in protection if you don't vary your content
Did it just go back down in price? 2 days ago I submitted an offer for 1799 and got counter-offered 1895 no added tax/shipping fee, later noticed that the original thread said expired so I just accepted it thinking that was the best I'm going to get since the deal/sale was suddenly over. Is it now back?
Does Greentoe have any sort of price matching? I'm guessing not with their weird "name your own price" formatting because you're not allowed to disclose who the exact seller is. 😔 But I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with them regarding situations like this?
Edit: I just realized it actually states the price now. So I guess that means I was just confused how it worked the first time and the deal was already over if I had to submit and offer. 🤦 Sigh... Well they got me.

Unfortunately there is no going back unless it shows up damaged or maybe the retailer is local and you can return on your own.

Mine is set to be here Tuesday. It will be replacing my 77" C9 that still works perfect. Personally I would not worry much about burn in as I game on mine and after 17,161 hrs of screen time, the TV is flawless. Only reason I'm upgrading is because this is a great deal and I'm hoping the c4 is a bit brighter.
Does anyone know if the model number difference between this one and Costco's (oled77c4pua vs oled77c4aua) is just a difference in any hardware or otherwise?

Thanks. I think you're right and that was my hunch. I was just hoping to be pleasantly surprised.
They're shipping it all the way from NY to CA and arrives next thursday. A long, long way to travel for potential damage...
Honestly, I would rather it just shows up in perfect condition with no shipping damage as the hassle of returning it sounds worse than a $100 savings.
I just feel a bit miffed by them charging me extra and literally going right back to the price that initially caught my attention 2 days later - they could've just given me that price even if supposedly "missed the deal" by a few hours... especially if they knew they were going to sell another round of them at that price in two days!

Yea, it's a bit of a game with them but you still got a great deal. You'll forgot about the $100 once it's up on the wall, it's a great TV.
Never heard of greentoe. Is this seller legit, any experiences?
Its legit and used them twice now. They act as a middle person for various sellers and broker the deal. My last buy was for this same TV 3 weeks ago. Accepted offer and the seller shipped quickly. Had it in 7 days after offer accepted and arrived with no marks on box at all from shipping. No issues on my experience with them.

It's a bummer but what happened was you submitted it but staff had already created a thread for it, so your post got merged with this one. That is how they treat reposts on Slickdeals.
