MSRP was $300 at Christmas. Did these really jump $50 in the last two months?
It's probably because of the gift card. You're still getting it under $300 which is not bad.

Can this make frozen alcoholic drinks? We had the Margaritaville one and didn't really like it. I think partly because of the size and partly because it was a messy to maintain.

It's exciting at first then I got tired of drinking slushy and now it just a sore eye taking up a kitchen space. I suggest just getting it at a gas station. If it's $3 at the gas station, just imagine you'll have to order 100 times to break even at $300 not including the time spent washing and adding ingredients. It's just my two cents after getting chewed out by my wife.

Keep in mind that there's a slightly smaller version. Perhaps that one was $300 MSRP? This was always $350, I'm fairly confident.

Edit: confirming FS300 model is $300 MSRP. this is the elusive FS301 that I spent months searching for during Christmas time for my mother in law. different size.

Edit again: I was wrong. I checked my order details from when I bought it in December, and it was, in fact, $299.99! Thank you for the callout SD community! I'll admit when I'm wrong!!

The smaller white one (Walmart exclusive) was originally $249 and this one was $299. The price increased on both models recently.

Watch the Freakin Reviews video on YT. He makes several things including a margarita and it turns out well.

You clearly haven't embraced the margaritaville lifestyle

Original MSRP was $300 for this model and it was extremely hard to find. Constantly sold out. Now it's mostly back in stock but they've raised the price to $350. Supply and demand. If it's always sold out then there's a lot of demand and opportunity to increase cost.

I have both the margaritaville and the ninja slushi. The ninja produces much higher quality but it takes longer and less convenient. The margaritaville is just a blender which does a pretty good job of chopping up the ice but it's inconsistent with the size of the ice chunks. The drinks also melt very fast because it's ice and liquid. Not a frozen liquid. Much different and results in much different consistencies. The ninja is nearly identical to what you'd receive at a restaurant, daiquiri shop, etc.

This is the same one at Kohls, right? $350 there with any 30% code and maybe KC on top of that would make it a little cheaper there, right?
