My human has one of these.

It's not great. Difficult to clean and get the litter out. He has to shake it like crazy (outside).

So, it keeps litter off the carpet, but is harder to clean than the carpet.

Had one. Impossible to clean properly. Tossed it. Would not buy again.

I need a mat I can wash in case of accidents outside the litter box.

These things suck. They just trap all the litter that gets on them and become such an eyesore. And then the only way to clean them is to take them outside, shake them off, and hose them down. Easier to just sweep the floor.

For those with litter issues have you tried the Tidy Cats Breeze pellets? They are easy to clean and don't track around the house.

I have 1 cat and never had to clean it outside or shake it. I vacuum it lightly once a week. Maybe if you have more than 1 ...

FYI prices:
2019, May = $15.49
2023, August= 18.25 (bought a second mat for Mom's new cat)

at this sale price it's definitely a no-brainer

I've had the same one for years for 3 cats, just vacuum when I clean the litter so it's visually clean.. Cats lick their butts. How clean does it need to be?

I prefer CatCrack brand.

It never goes on sale, but the human pays for it, so who cares.

Cats prefer sandy non scented clumping according to vet scientists. You do you, but I'm glad my cat loves his litter boxes.

For this price you could basically just replace it every couple months

i use this mat thats rubber and has holes in it on one side. forgot the brand. it catches litter and you can take it outside to hose it down to shake. i still have cat litter leaving the room because i have a girl cat that just takes off after pooping or peeing.
