There are a bunch off posts around the 77 G4 for $2900. The 77M3 is $2400.

If you go to the LG site the M3 is more expensive then the G4. It looks like the M3 also comes with a stand which is an additional $180 for the G4.

the $2900 is after tax and shipping, so this isn't as good as it might smell

i also don't think the wireless box is very popular but that's a more subjective consideration

The price 2550 inclusive of tax (may vary depending on state) and free shipping. Every TV has has tax. It's about $350 less than the 77G4.

If you're talking about the other deal where it was $2700 pre tax for a g4 that included the $700 soundbar AND also included the $180 tv stand. I looked at my LG partners page for this and saw its out of stock either way and in fact this deal youre mentioning does not include a TV stand for free only the same soundbar. As the other poster mentioned the wireless box seems to be fairly controversial. I think $2400-$2600 is where youll see the G4 consistently in the coming months unfortunately I couldn't wait any longer and ordered mine at $2700 since I dont foresee the $2200-$2400 Glitch on the G4 without soundbar happening again. Also youd be better off comparing the M3 to a G3 not a G4 they are not the same.

In stock for my zip code so YMMV. Also 10% off code worked. A TV stand defeats the purpose of this TV and soundbar. Instead, free wall mounting is included. this also comes with ATSC 3.0 tuner which G4 does not.

I know the purpose of these tvs are to be hung up gallery style but getting $180 item you can sell for at least $100 if you don't use it helps. Some people also don't want to hang the tv or want to put it in an area where hanging would not work. Free wall mounting is included in both and you still get the free stand with the G4 deal so that takes nothing away. Now if you did your research you'd see that the handy free mounting is mostly a nightmare as most of the people they send have no clue how to mount a TV of this size. Atsc 3.0 also has no real benefit at this moment something else you didn't look into so that's pretty much a non issue. Anyone looking into buying the m series look into how many plugs you'll need going into your tv otherwise their entire gimmick the magic box is pretty much worthless.

Well I have ATSC 3.0 tuner on a TV I'm upgrading from, and I still chose to pay more for a G4 knowing it is only 1.0. I was considering the M4, but I just can't get over the stupid wireless box gimmick and the fact I saw the wireless hub crap out on a Best Buy demo unit while I was comparing brands and screens. That stupid box is the reason the M4 is cheaper. I can always add ATSC 3.0 to my TV, but can't change the wireless box thing.

You're assuming I don't have more tv's including more expensive models or even m series tv's with Atsc 3.0 and the annoying "magic box". I made very good points and I suggested that you research a little which would tell you that content using the Atsc 3.0 standard is extremely limited and nearly non existent. I know from personal experience so telling people its something that matters at this point in time is being disingenuous. I will leave it at that people who wish to remain ignorant will just go on tangents and not accept they are wrong or add factual substance to the conversation. Either way thanks for posting OP my points weren't to detract from the deal but merely to get people to look into my valid points. Do your own research and see what fits best but there is a reason people usually go with the G4.

not every TV being sold is charging tax; ie GreenToe

this skews the price comparisons when one store is always after tax and shipping and the other isn't

not saying this isn't a good deal, but personally i hate the idea of the wireless box and am not even entertaining it

greentoe 77 G4 is $2900
this is $2400 + $240 tax (CA) = $2640

I would not punish myself with the M's wireless clutter for $200

thus i stand by this isn't as good as it might look when comparing the numbers. but yes, it's a good price, if it's what someone wants

Bless Your Heart. You said I need to research ATSC 3.0. The last 5 TVs I bought all have internal ATSC 3.0 tuners. I don't see a single fact provided that disputes the advantages of ATSC 3.0. Guess there are none. Sorry your G4 doesn't doesn't support ATSC 3.0. Also, have fun finding an external ATSC 3.0 tuner that supports DRM.

Let's see...I receive ABC, NBC, Fox, CBS, and PBS over ATSC 3.0. More than meets my needs.
