Staples is still open? How do they make profit with the size of their stores and paying rent.

I don't really see people going to buy notebooks and pens more than a few times per year.

Even though they're brick and mortar they still do a ton of business to business sales.

I think about that sometimes but then I realize they still sell a ton to schools, businesses etc plus their print business has to be good because well who else is going to do it for you. If I am buying a big semi-commercial printer I sure don't trust that being shipped to me either. They don't really hire that many people so rent and utilities are probably their biggest costs.

Can you have a store associate order something that is sold online (but not in stores) for you and have this $10 credit for every $50 apply?

I don't see a list of exclusions … does it work on a $200 gift card?

It doesn't say gift cards are excluded. Does this mean I could buy a $200 Visa gift card, eat the $8 activation fee, and come out $32 ahead?

$200 Mastercard is fee free this week but they usually disallow gift card purchases to count towards the promotion.

Their printing and copy divisions inside their stores are highly profitable and have a decent volume. That along with their business division
