Hairpin table legs would cost this much or more, so it's a good deal if just for that reason.

I literally thought I could use the legs for a diy table at this price.

I have a very similar desk that I have used every day since March of 2020 for work and personal computing. Anyone who says you can't is lying.

Beige color is $29, in case you need a different one.

It's a particle board desk. Is that good enough for a kid to do their homework? It seems like thats an internal/personal question. Millions of people use particle board desks everyday.

I was considering that myself! I wonder how the quality is - whether the legs would hold up a much heavier table top with computer, monitors, etc.

It claims it can support 200lb on the desk surface so I'd imagine with a stronger tabletop it'd be able to support a good bit more.

The lack of actual pictures from reviewers of the desk is kind of strange. Still, for $25 can't complain. The Wooden color one is also on ebay and Temu for around the same price. Walmart should be an easier way to deal with a return though.

20" deep enough for monitor and keyboard for Personal Computing? Seems like 20" is too close between monitor and keyboard sitting distance .

FYI I bought just these hairpin legs last fall on sale for 20 but they are more than this desk now https://www.walmart.com/ip/SKYSHA...5677767258

I used with a slab top and they made a really sturdy table

That's a cool idea. Where did you purchase a slab?

Good question. I use a wall-mount monitor. On the desk I have mouse and keyboard on a large mat, along with laptop angled on the left side. A bit more space would be nice, but like I said, I've been using it this way for 5 years.
