I really don't understand 1/2 zips, just go full zip! Maybe that's why these are on clearance

They still have stock because the colors are hideous. I know it's called "Retro" but those would have been considered ugly in the 70's, too.

I have a similar Marmot fleece pullover in a different color and really like it. I specifically wanted a thin fleece though. If you're looking for warm or good against wind you should get something thicker.
