The X9 Pro was the same price or ~10$ more recently...
and beware on shipping from amazon on this: they sent me the first one in a huge box without any bubble wrap and had to be returned as was showing apparently "mechanical" failures on arrival.
big pita to return as for some reason wouldn't honor a simple exchange.
Ended up getting the 4th X9Pro for Mac for the same price from them at ~$200 iirc, but still had to return the other...
so careful when clicking the shipping options or make or take a note on that...
I just ordered the 4TB X10 Pro instead for $40 more as a new Ventoy drive. https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-X1...B0C9WJQ9GP
The 4TB X10 Pro can maintain 1600 MiB/s with a huge sequential write from empty to 90% full.

Will never happen once the US tariffs kick in 😒 (yes it's not $200, but that's just lazy half ass discount of 1 cent)
We may still be in for some good deals for the first half of the year. There's a NAND glut right now, and they are reducing output in hopes of balancing supply / demand by '25 H2.
Hey, I got a 4tb a year and half ago for $129 or whatever (not this one), and a 20tb EXOS for~ $189 last fall or whatever...
between time, and different drive formats/quality, this is a fluid situation that doesn't appear to be trending the way we would want, and can hope for the best, and not panic buy etc... as ultimately, ffs, it is what it is...
