Yes, the 5000 series is out, but good luck finding them. Plus they will be $1500 more than this one. I have the same laptop but with a 4090 card and it's been awesome. Get a laptop cooling pad and your good to go. I have zero problems with temperatures, which was my greatest fear. I'm using the Ice Coorel cooling pad, which was a highly rates budget model in a comparison video I saw. There are much better cooling pads on the market, but this one actually works good, so I'm happy with it. Their stock won't last long!!

The Desktop GPUs are different to the laptop GPUs. In any case, no shortage of laptops with Nvidia GPUs.
