Also got this last month for same price. Replaced a 5 cup one we had from same brand. It works great. Started with the built-in filter, but swapped out to paper filters. Both work fine, just easier to clean with paper filter. Keeps hot for up to 2 hours, then it shuts off. I can't recall if you can change that setting.
For $20, it's good. A lot of plastic, but what more can you ask at that price point.
