Note about the Allstate/SquareTrade warranty since I had to go through the process with my current tv. After the first two year warranty coverage through manufacturer and Costco, Allstate takes over. I noticed some dead pixels on year 4 of my warranty and had to submit a claim. I was approved for a replacement tv but they offered two TVs that were significantly lower quality than what I purchased. The claim service was all through chat and I could not speak to a live agent on the phone. I called Costco warranty/tech service department and they were incredibly helpful. They spoke to an agent and got Allstate to provide the current version of my tv as well as another competitive option to choose from.

Also note that once you receive your replacement tv, the new tv is not covered under the remainder of the warranty. Costco actually advised that in the future I begin the warranty process with them instead of Allstate so they have all the case notes. Exceptional Costco service experience.
They have a phone number and phone agents. I just went through the process on an LG CX and they offered a C4 as replacement. I declined it and requested money back and they sent a $1200 check.
My friend has the 85" Bravia 7, and I have a 65" S90C (QD-OLED). I don't see a viewing angle issue on his TV like the reviews say. It may be worse than my OLED viewing angle as far as getting slightly dim. But I think you'd have to be really picky to even notice it. Just my opinion. I think the reviews are hyper critical and may not apply to most people. I would be happy with either QD-OLED as I have, or a Bravia 7. His is brighter but I do think the colors are richer and the QD-OLEDs essentially have perfect image quality.
And on the flip side while I think viewing angles are blown out of proportion, I don't see a brightness issue with my OLED. The same windows that would blow out my old plasma's image from sunlight, does not do the same to my S90C.
You can't really go wrong with any midrange TV, buy based on price and this price is as good as it gets on a 65" Bravia 7. I'd buy it if I didn't have my TV because $1200 is as low as it's probably going to go unless you're even more of a successful vulture than me.

Great deal for a very solid TV. Beats OLED TVs in most brighter family rooms.

So anyone with experience with this TV? I'm wondering how bad the narrow viewing angle really is.

Bought and set one up for family last month. Very good for their bright room and great picture quality. Didn't see any issues with viewing angles. Would've returned it if I had. This is $200 better than its pre-Super Bowl sale price a few weeks ago.

Also like that the Costco package includes a backlit button remote with a USB-C port for charging.

The 75" X93L is 1300 at Walmart currently. They're basically the same TV with minor changes/improvements.

Yeah they are basically identical other than better viewing angles on the X93L and better out of the box color accuracy

I thought the viewing angle was better than expected when I saw it in Costco. Much better than the X90L they had on display. Obviously not as good as OLED but for most setups unless you are trying to watch it from 40 or more degrees away I think you will be fine. Plus with Costco you can try it out and see if it works for you for 90 days.

65" x93l is $1k at Walmart. You're missing out on the 5 yr warranty though. I have the x93l and think it's plenty bright but I believe the Bravia 7 is even brighter.

Shows OOS for me. Would be a good deal though if they have it in your area.

RTINGS is a bit sensational with those viewing angle ratings.

I do not notice it when sitting off to the side, nothing at all like my older Sony LED tv which was indeed terrible.

The Bravia 7 has better contrast, higher brightness, and QLED. The X93L has better viewing angles and better reflection handling. Although Sony generally has great QC, color accuracy is subjective and can vary by unit. FWIW... Rtings (on their tested units) rated out-of-the-box color accuracy better on the Bravia 7 (8.7) vs. the X93L (8.1).
