I was looking at the 20 pack of silver coins and noticed they weren't individually sealed.

Does this hold its value better than gold?

I am not sure who buys these at this price? 1 oz of Silver should be between $35 to $40. Am I missing something?

I assume this is targeted to people who would rather have platinum than silver. Are you asking why people would have that preference?

Platinum is not silver, that's what you're missing.

exactly. I was told the same a year back when gold was 2060 at Costco.
the point being if you are looking forward to precious metal investment, go ahead and buy. This is a good deal as it ever can be, unless you have a reliable source of buying precious metals at spot prices, without shipping, shipping insurance etc.

difficult to answer from multiple perspective, I can try one.
Precious metals are costly as they are rare and limited in quantity and platinum is even rarer than gold.
