Why do they just not give everyone a redemption coupon? They expect people to sit by the app?

They give out limited # of coupons. The way I was able to get them is to set an alert like 5-10 minutes before, open the app right before and keep refreshing until the drop appears. They usually sell out fairly quickly, so gotta grab it quick.

East coast they drop at 5pm, and their happy hour runs 2-5pm. Can order the $1+ drink right before the drop to save money.

I am not sure why they did that. They can't resell the drops. It expires in a day. They cannot eat so many free nachos in one day. nowadays, I get less than 1/3 of the Tuesday drops minus the non food drops.

I disagree!....it should be available for at least 2-3 days, not just a few hours! It's actually kind of abusive! They do this intentionally, so that a certain percentage of customers miss out (since they can't redeem it within a few hours). No other restaurant chain plays these manuplative games! Only Taco Bell!
