It was good with previous firmware. Unfortunately, the latest firmware update sound kind of flat. I send an email about 2-3 weeks ago and asked possible to downgrade the firmware, but no response from the company. I can't find the early firmware version anywhere so kind of disappointed.

Bought these when they were $200 and it's built nice, sound good, but noise cancelation was a bit lacking if I recall. I ended up getting the Bose which I felt sounded more natural and with better ANC, but overall cheaper build feel as well as the soft case.

At $150... You will be quite happy with them.

Love these headphones, high build quality and great sound. I also have the Sennheiser Momentum 4 and prefer the M4's sound quality. However, it loses to the PX7 S2 in terms of build quality and connection quality.

The M4s feel cheap and delicate, and their Bluetooth tends to be unreliable, especially if you connect more than 1 device to it. But their soundstage beats the PX7.

Bought these in Dec 2023 for $229. Can I buy and return on 2023 receipt so I can save $70? Not sure what Costco's policy is on headphones.

I have both PX7S2 and S8 (lol there is no S8s), also have PX7S2e.

This brand new PX7S2 for $150 is great. S8 has way better sounding with thicker bass, better sound stage (feels like you are listening to floor speakers, B&W is well known for floor standing speakers), and the build quality is all metal and leather despite the PX7S2's plastic with some metal, but not cheap feeling (very well made).
They all have ANC, but not as great as Sony's XM5, Airpods Max or Bose QC45,Ultra. The mic quality was OK, but picks up all the noise around you despite some headphones have noise reduction (Clear voice) built in.

Buy this if you really like B&W sounding like S8 like. but I recommend buying the S8 solely for the music sounding quality. but at this $150 price is so much value comparing the S8's $500 now.

I wish there were other color options though. This black is good, but boring to my eyes.

Oh, one more thing to note is that these don't fold, you either need to carry the hard shell case or just put it in your bag unprotected.

Lastly, about their own phone app, it sucks and buggy, there's been two updates in the past 3,4 years. but it gets the job done. you can set the sensitivity of wear detection sensor, just set it to sensitive if you want it to work well.
You did not comment on comfort or ergonomics. One issue I have with the Sony 1000xm(n) series is the small inner ear capsule space which creates a sweaty claustrophobic sensation. Is the PX7S2 or S8 any roomier?

There are so many things i didn't say here. I can't mention all that. rofl.
all B&W headphones are smaller than the sony's. These are over ears, but not like Audiophile headphones such as Hifiman's.
Let me try my Sony's. lol They are about the same. Are your ears pretty big? These are consumer focused headphones. They fit me well, not snuggly though.
You can get Sennheiser's HD800S or Hifiman Susvara. They do fit so well, very snug, even on your big years.

I like the blue color with gold trim. Unfortunately, I bought the black from Costco about 5 months ago so too late to return/exchange.

for those who've had these from Costco for several months, how are the headphones holding up? I want to buy one but hesitant after reading issues about headband and earpads coming apart.
