Intel is power inefficient, hot and loud. 13th and 14th gen had stability issues. There's a chance these have processors that have already had irreparable damage from said issues. The official line from Intel is the mobile stuff wasn't effected but I'm not going to take the 3k gamble myself but to each their own. Also, there's a chance since Nvidia's 50 series laptops come out soon, the prices on 40 series should come down more

I have an Aorus X7Pro from 2014. It has 24GB RAM, 4x 240GB SSD in RAID-0, and 2xGTX970M. It has been HEAVILY used, and I mean HEAVILY used. It has been the most reliable machine for me. The only maintenance I've had to do was replace one of the cooling fans and the battery.
When I bought it, it was the fastest laptop in the world. That's obviously no longer the case but it was $2600 at the time and I have seen NOTHING even remotely comparable that wasn't another AORUS.

I would jump on this in a heartbeat if there was a Windows 7 driver for the RTX 4090.
