Not that I'm a pro but I have a few different styles of sprayers. I don't have this specific model but I have a similar one (venturi). These are maybe handy, but are VERY picky on the viscosity of the paint - too thick and it will spatter. Too thin and it will run. It's hardly a "fill with paint and spray" kind of device, and the nature of spraying means paint gets everywhere. I'd say this might be OK for some outdoor projects or even small section of a fence or something (with stain, not paint). It takes far too much time to dilute paint to get the viscosity just right for this technology to really be a useful substitute for a brush/roller.
