It's true it is not under a door, but it is still easy to swap - all you need is a T5 screwdriver.
It's actually not a T5. It's similar to the T5. Look up what you need exactly. It's on Reddit. I sourced one for c. $10 from the Internet. It wasn't easy to find it. A Czech company called Wera makes them. They intentionally want to make it difficult. MSFT is learning from Apple.

Stop all those quality things, in 2025 any laptop windows or Apple with a price tag of more than $600 or $700 should come with 24GB to 34GB RAM, this crappy meager 16GB RAM is ridiculous in 2025.
I know, I know, I will get those comments, but, 16GB would be enough for most people.
Well, 16GB would be enough or not, that's one thing, RAM and Storage being so cheap these companies are still pushing the crappy deals.
I believe just 6 months or so people said the same thing when they came with 8GB RAM. Thankfully the new norm is 16GB minimum now....

False. They are Torx Plus and speaking as an avid Surface user (since the very beginning), they are 100% compatible with Torx bits per iFixIt.

You need to stop listening to the internet trolls and try one for yourself.

Might be a dumb question, but does this work with a stylus?

Trust me, you don't want any Surface in black. They are the worst fingerprint magnets I've ever seen.

1st gen laptop snapdragon processor line still not compatible with all x86 programs. Microsoft will abandon this soon enough, like they did with ARM in the surface X pro.

They didn't abandon anything with the Surface Pro X, the SPX laid the groundwork for these devices. I'm getting about three times the battery life compared to intel CPUs. Windows 11 took care of compatibility issues.
