And this comes after the gauntlet promotion offered by Tropical Smoothie Cafe? Someone is going to be a fat cat after this week for the next two weeks.

For Burger King:

Breakfast deals will be paired with $1 large sweetened tea.

Lunch and dinner will be paired with $1 chocolate chip cookies which are 🔥 at BK.

For the croissan'wich, add an egg for $1. You could get 2-4 sauces for $1 - prices on those vary by location - but it's a waste of money IMO because most BKs will give you at least 1 sauce free when you pick it up if you ask nicely. Then again, BK is the only fast food place to charge for sauces in my region, so they may be more lax about actually charging just to stay competitive. Or maybe they can't be bothered to ring up a 25-cent order because their workers seem to give the least amount of f***s of any fast food joint.

I never understood the buying of sauces. To me sauces are so disposable. I mean if I ever get any free sauces from anywhere, I either throw them in a bag or box somewhere and barely remember where I put it the next time I need to dunk something in them. In fact, it would be better to get them from Wendy's, but even now Wendy's restricts them in their app. I can only get one of each and that is if I get the location next to where I work. The one nearest to me is so stingy that they modify my order when I get to the window and tell me that I get ONE type of sauce. If I order BBQ, Ranch, Sweet and Sour, etc.; I can only pick one of those and maybe I will get two of that. It is ridiculous, so much so that I contacted customer service over it because there is no standardization (which, if they are franchises, they do not have to be). Still, if they get a hint from customer service, they may consider changing protocol.
I always get something to eat or drink, but then again there are items that are exactly $1 on the menu. I could understand if one HAD TO find something to purchase, whether a topping or sauce just to meet the minimum. I would just never choose to buy sauces.

Finally prices that make sense as compared to cost of living. $1 for both in the federally minimum wage state I am in.

I think either the pandemic or this whole recycling thing really played a huge part in fast food places charging for sauces. They used to give so many. It really is a bummer.
