I paid $11.99 last month during monthly savings event from local Sam's club for 12 pack. Comes out to same price as Amazon $1 each.

I read something about the bitter coating actually rendering it incompatible with some devices because it acts as an insulator around the edge, lol.

That's true. AirTags, for example, have their battery contact points where the bitterness layer is applied. However, a little scuffing up the surface with sandpaper (or Magic Eraser, or anything abrasive) removes enough to makes it work. Duracell 2032 batteries don't work at all in AirTags until you scuff up the surfaces, then they work perfectly.

Yesterday I received the $15 credit for spending $50 on qualifying items. Today I put these batteries in my cart and when I check out it is applying that credit but the price jumps up to $13.99, even though it is showing $9.48 for S&S and $9.99 for Buy it Now. Anyone else experiencing this?

normally i went with duracell or energizer but recently i bought LiBC and very happy with it so far. It's weird that my ring sensors reported not full battery power and weak signal for the first few days with LiBC and then everything is back to normal after.

Too bad my garage door openers don't go through these batteries quick enough to justify a 10 pack

I suspect the bitter coating is added to the batteries to dissuade toddlers from accidentally choking on them.
