6ft of reach is pretty useless. I can just use my club instead. the 15ft reach is $50. Also it's been this price since early jan..

I've got the extra long one (I thought it was longer than 15') and it's pretty ridiculous. Short one would definitely be enough to get the ones that roll into the water, even more if you crouch down. That being said I do like that it reaches the bottom of the bag -- I feel like this 6' one would just fall in.

Actually, my current retriever is about 6 feet long also. I would prefer 8 or 10 but the other option is 15 which takes up a big space in the main part of the bag and with a fat rubber handle, restricts movement and space for your other clubs. I'll stick with the short one.
