I don't think Sonos is long for this world. Look into Wiim instead.

Huh? Wiim has nothing comparable to Sonos. They don't even sell the same products.

The point is that for the same money, you could get a couple of Wiim pucks (maybe their Ultra streamer, a bargain for what you get), some powered speakers and/or little Fosi amp and speakers, and you'd have a better sounding and future-proof solution. I own a large number of Sonos products, also a couple of Wiim devices including the ultra and don't think I'm buying any more Sonos products until they get their shit together both from an app and company perspective. They are currently firing workers and refuse to revert the app back to its previous working version.

Good prices if you're not a Sonos owner already. If you are, log into the Sonos site, and you'll see better pricing with their current 25% off owners' sale.

I got wiim pucks before getting into Sonos. I already had various speakers collected throughout the years and seemed to have decent reviews so seemed like a no brainer.

Have had various problem with it keeping the same volume level between plays/pause. It technically worked most of the time but had weird quirks here and there. At least in AirPlay which is how I prefer to play over the air. And across different apps.

Have found sonos to be much more reliable on this front.
