Awesome deal, Im still running my Alienware Aurora R7 with liquid cooling from like 2018. Upgraded from a GTX1080 to a RTX3070. Not a single issue with this PC. I run it for about 8+ hours a day and often max out the CPU and GPU from gaming yet ive never had an issue with overheating even when my office was 90+ degrees

it is a relatively easy install and has resulted in a 30 degree C improvement for me.

My Crucial 6400 runs at 5600. I think we are stuck at 5600.
Did you have to remove the motherboard for the backplate?

No. This is how I remember the steps....

== take off the existing Dell heatsink by unscrewing 4 screws.
(disconnect and take note of the power supply connector to the motherboard)
== use paper towel to take off old thermal paste

From Thermalake Peerless Assassin SE 120 V2 materials...
[[[ == take the Fan Power Y cable, and connect it to the motherboard CPU Fan header you just disconnected the existing CPU Fan from]]]
== put the four little round spacers over the screw holes you just exposed
== screw the two mounting brackets (perpendicular to the memory) into the four screw holes, using the Thermalake enclosed screws

== apply included Thermalake thermal paste
== remove protective sticker from CPU Heatsink

== place the (Large) Heatsink device onto the CPU and screw in the two pre-installed screws into the two Mounting Bracket stubs. screw it in reasonably tight but not too tight

=== take the two ThermaLake Fans and, using the paperclip brackets, mount them to the middle and memory-side of the Heatsink. [ for the middle fan, you will need to stretch the clips out to wiggle in down into the center of the heatsink]
[[[ Airflow facing AWAY from MEMORY CHIPS towards back of case...there are airflow diagrams on the outside of the fans]]]

=== connect the fan power bracket to the included Y Connector wire...and the Y wire to the motherboard CPU Fan header (where you just disconnected the other one)...... this part is a little tight to get your fingers in there....so maybe connect the Y Wire to the Motherboard first. (that would have been easier---so I just added that step up top.)

Easiest CPU fan mount I ever had to do. Hope this helps.

In for 1... Computer died yesterday after only 5 years in so I grabbed with a c b, credit card c b, and the 10% coupon. Liquid cooled and bought 64gb g skill memory to replace the small 16 it has (was only $140 more)

Did you look up all the reviews on the 5080. Also, to anyone buying a 5090, there are like 5 games that will even take advantage of the card, and cyberpunk is 4 years old now. There is not one game coming out this year where the 5090 is needed.
At first, I disagreed but then thinking more about it, your post makes perrrct sense. In a few years time price will go down further more and we will have more supported 4K titles.

You all can do whatever you want, you all have your reasons. It's not like I haven't spent 3k on a computer before.
