Awesome deal, Im still running my Alienware Aurora R7 with liquid cooling from like 2018. Upgraded from a GTX1080 to a RTX3070. Not a single issue with this PC. I run it for about 8+ hours a day and often max out the CPU and GPU from gaming yet ive never had an issue with overheating even when my office was 90+ degrees

how do u get the i9 5080 for same price/2300?Thank you!
I got the Ultra 9 285 w/32GB and 5080, plus 3 YR warranty ($279) for $2501 + tax. This does not include the AMEX 13% discount which will show on my CC statement ($347), net cost of $1875 (plus tax) for the PC itself. Not bad!

I was a little disappointed that Dell chose to put a 2230 1TB SSD in this machine with the main drawback that it has no DRAM cache on the SSD (in other words, a lower-performing SSD).

I can confirm it supports 128GB using the Crucial Pro 5600 128GB kit (64GBx2). I found the best deal was at Microcenter for $259.99 (shipped). The RAM is running at 5600.

Currently have both an R16 and an ACT1250 on my bench with 64GB and 128GB, respectively, using the Crucial Pro 5600 Kit, and both run the memory at a solid 5600 MT/s, no tweaking or XMP. They just work.I was a bit surprised with the ACT1250 as my parts listing on my order shows the cooling option as "Top fan not required", that it does have a 2-fan radiator at the top.
Top fan refers to the top case fan module which comes with air cooling only. The top fans on the radiator that come with liquid cooling is part of the liquid cooling module.

did you look up all the reviews on the 5080. also, to anyone buying a 5090, there are like 5 games that will even take advantage of the card, and cyberpunk is 4 years old now. there is not one game coming out this year where the 5090 is needed.

While you make jokes, there have been better deals posted here for a desktop 5080 in a very short amount of time. 5080 is not needed to max out Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 with its now 97% user score. The highest user score in history. Bam!

It's funny when the video card has as much ram as the motherboard.

At least ram is fairly cheap and easy to add.
What is max ram you can upgrade to?

There is a free swag kit for Area-51 owners. See below

https://na.alienwarearena.com/pag...ontact-kit

Despite owning the Aurora in this deal and not an Area-51 model, I signed up for the kit on a whim about three weeks ago and, to my surprise, actually received it yesterday. YMMV.

This is just an FYI. I am in no way encouraging anyone to break any rules.

From the comments left in the video you sent me "I am playing this also in 4k. It looks really weird. Kinda washed out and blurry. DLAA looks worse than DLSS (66%). Will test some ReShade filters today." "@john2gr I actually bought the game and tested, 4K DLAA looks so blurry omg... How did they screw this up? Lol. DLSS Quality looks pretty great yeah but the performance jump should be better though, it's not scaling really well!" LOL even more reasons not to pay all this money for these computers.

Can you please explain how you were able to select all of this for $2501? I've added all of those and it comes out to be above $3300. Thank you!

Maybe it was the deal at the time? I posted the screenshot I took while going through the purchase process below. And it was actually even less than that because I had $196 in Dell Rewards I applied also! Crazy right?
It doesn't show in that attachment, but it does include the Alienware 3 years extended warranty also.

What's the best ram to pair with this machine to upgrade it to 48gb or 64gb?

Appreciate the breakdown D, awesome score, hope you have a blast with it! I'm trying to get a rig like this for some Oblivion VR and other VR titles that are pretty taxing.
